From Diano Marina to Cervo
Cervo is just a few minutes away by scooter from Diano Marina, and it's one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Liguria. Leave your scooter near the seafront and walk up through the narrow lanes to the church of San Giovanni Battista.

Towards Imperia and Porto Maurizio
From Diano Marina, the coastal road takes you to Imperia in just a few minutes, with sea views around every bend. In Porto Maurizio, park your scooter and lose yourself in the alleys of the Parasio old town.
Heading down towards the harbour you'll find Oneglia, with its own seafront walk: two town centres in one, easy to link up thanks to the scooter.
The hinterland of the Golfo Dianese
Behind Diano Marina lies a hinterland of olive groves and quiet roads, perfect for a scooter ride. Diano Castello, with its Vermentino wine cellars, is the most charming destination.
The roads are narrow but lightly trafficked: ideal for a relaxed ride away from the coastal traffic, with views over the gulf opening up at every bend.
All the way to Sanremo along the coast
Sanremo can be reached by scooter from Diano Marina following the Via Aurelia along the coast, around 25 km of scenic road. Once there, leave the scooter near the centre and explore La Pigna, the old town rising above the city, on foot.

Tip for the day
Set off in the morning to enjoy the roads with less traffic and the best light for coastal photos. Plan short stops in the villages and keep the tank at least half full: petrol stations are less frequent in the hinterland.
